It is rated 25 A at 30 °C ambient, with a 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2, and carries a Type B tripping curve for general-purpose resistive and light inductive loads in residential or commercial final circuits.
The 25 A rating holds at 30 °C; above that, the continuous current must be derated: 24 A at 40 °C, 23.5 A at 45 °C, 23 A at 50 °C, 22.5 A at 55 °C, 22 A at 60 °C, and 21 A at 70 °C. This means the part is usable in warm enclosures or near other heat sources, but the load must be sized to the actual ambient temperature — a 25 A circuit at 50 °C effectively becomes a 23 A circuit.
Snap-on mounting for DIN rail, any position. Supply can enter from either top or bottom.
