What this RCBO does on the panel
It carries a C characteristic (6 A at 30 °C, derated to 4.7 A at 70 °C) and breaks faults up to 6 kA per EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2. The 400 V AC rated voltage and 500 V insulation voltage suit it for three-phase final circuits in distribution boards where you need both short-circuit and earth-fault protection in one device.
IP20 rated once installed with conductors connected. Feed from top or bottom; the 4-pole design protects all live conductors.
Thermal derating — what the 6 A rating actually means
The 6 A rating at 30 °C drops as ambient rises: 5.7 A at 40 °C, 5.5 A at 45 °C, 5.3 A at 50 °C, 5.1 A at 55 °C, 5.0 A at 60 °C, and 4.7 A at 70 °C. If your panel runs warm — typical for a crowded enclosure — size the load against the derated value, not the 30 °C number.
