It protects a single-phase final subcircuit against both overload/short-circuit and earth leakage, with a 13 A rated current and a Type A residual-current trip sensitive to 30 mA. Breaking capacity is rated at 4.5 kA per EN 60898 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2. The higher IEC figure applies when the device is used as a circuit breaker in an industrial panel; the EN figure governs domestic/commercial final circuits. Either way, it handles typical fault levels on a 230/400 V TN system.
Mounting position is any — no restriction on upright or horizontal orientation. Supply can enter from either top or bottom — no fixed line/load orientation. The 1P+N pole arrangement switches the phase and disconnects the neutral; the neutral pole is switched but not protected against overload. IP20 protection applies when installed in a distribution board with connected conductors — normal for enclosed panel use.
Thermal derating and ambient range
Derate to 12.48 A at 40 °C, 12.22 A at 45 °C, 11.96 A at 50 °C, 11.57 A at 55 °C, 11.31 A at 60 °C, 10.53 A at 65 °C, and 10.01 A at 70 °C. The wide low end covers unheated enclosures in cold climates; the high end accommodates panels near process heat. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction suits installations with strict material-compatibility requirements, such as rail, marine, or data-center environments.
