Rated 16 A at 30 °C with a C-curve trip characteristic, it clears faults at 10 kA per EN 60898 and 20 kA per IEC 60947-2. That dual rating means it meets both domestic-standard (EN 60898) and industrial-standard (IEC 60947-2) short-circuit requirements, so it can be specified into a panel that must pass either certification gate.
At 40 °C it derates to 15.2 A, at 50 °C to 14.4 A, and at 70 °C to 12.32 A. The C-curve (trips at 5–10× In) handles motor inrush and transformer loads without nuisance trips, while still protecting branch circuits. Supply can enter from either top or bottom, which simplifies wiring in a pre-bussed panel.
