The Siemens SENTRON 5SU1656-6KK06 is a combined residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) in a 2-module-width (36 mm) housing, rated 6 A operational current at 230/240 V AC, 50 Hz. The 300 mA rated residual tripping current with Type A sensitivity means it detects pulsating DC fault currents on top of sinusoidal AC — the standard choice for circuits feeding single-phase electronics, variable-speed drives, or appliances with rectified inputs. The B tripping characteristic (3–5× In magnetic release) protects lighting and general-purpose final circuits where inrush is moderate.
