The Siemens 5SU9106-0DV20 is a combined residual-current device and miniature circuit breaker (RCBO) in a single 1+N-pole module. It integrates a Type AC residual-current release rated at 10 mA IΔn with a B-curve overcurrent trip at 20 A, all within a 6 kA breaking capacity envelope. The 70 mm depth keeps it flush in standard consumer-unit or distribution-board layouts.
The 10 mA IΔn is the sensitive end of the RCD spectrum — it trips on sinusoidal AC earth-leakage currents as low as 10 mA. That makes this unit appropriate for circuits where additional shock protection is needed (e.g., socket outlets in wet areas, or circuits supplying portable equipment outdoors). The 6 kA breaking capacity (Icn) is the standard domestic / light-commercial rating per IEC 60898-1. The 1+N-pole arrangement switches the line conductor and disconnects the neutral, which is the common configuration for single-phase final circuits in TN or TT earthing systems.
