The Siemens 5SU9156-7VK63 is a SENTRON RCBO — an RCD-operated circuit breaker combining overcurrent and residual-current protection in a single 2-module (36 mm wide) package.
At 40 °C it derates to 59.22 A, at 45 °C to 57.33 A, at 50 °C to 54.81 A, and at 55 °C to 51.03 A. If your panel runs warm — say above 40 °C — the real continuous current capacity is lower than the headline number, so size the circuit accordingly. The higher 10 kA figure applies when the device is used as a circuit breaker under the industrial standard; the 6 kA figure is the domestic/light-commercial rating. For most panel builds, the 10 kA SCCR is the one that governs selectivity studies. The 1P+N configuration (switched phase, solid neutral) fits single-phase final circuits on a 2-pole RCBO footprint.
Supply can enter from the top or bottom — no forced orientation. Touch protection is built in on the terminals. The IP20 rating is conditional on installation in a closed distribution board with conductors connected — it is not a standalone weatherproof device.
