The Siemens 5SU9306-1DV32 is a combined residual current device and miniature circuit breaker (RCBO) in a single 1+N-pole module. It integrates Type AC residual current protection at 30 mA sensitivity with a C-curve overcurrent trip rated at 32 A, all within a 70 mm wide housing.
Type AC detection responds to sinusoidal AC earth faults only. The C-curve (32 A rated current) trips between 5× and 10× In, so magnetic release occurs at 160 A to 320 A. This characteristic is sized for loads with moderate inrush — small motors, banks of fluorescent fittings, or multiple socket outlets — where a B-curve might nuisance-trip on startup. The 6 kA rated short-circuit capacity (Icn) is the maximum prospective fault current the device can interrupt under standard test conditions.
