RCBO for final-circuit protection
Type A detection handles pulsating DC residual currents from switched-mode supplies and single-phase rectifiers, not just sinusoidal AC faults.
The C-curve (63 A) means the magnetic trip fires between 5× and 10× In — 315 A to 630 A — suited for loads with moderate inrush like motorized appliances, pumps, and compressors in a single-phase 230 V circuit. The 30 mA residual sensitivity covers personnel protection (indirect contact) in standard final circuits per IEC 60364. One pole switched, one pole neutral; the neutral pole opens with the line pole but does not carry overcurrent protection — verify the neutral bar arrangement in your distribution board.
