It integrates a Type A residual-current device (RCD) sensitive to pulsating DC and sinusoidal AC fault currents, tripping at 30 mA, with a C‑characteristic overcurrent release set at 16 A.
The C‑characteristic (16 A) means the magnetic trip operates at 5–10× In (80–160 A), suited for loads with moderate inrush, like small motors or capacitor-start circuits. The 6 kA breaking capacity is adequate for most final subcircuits in TN and TT systems where the upstream protective device limits the fault energy. The 1P+N format (switched phase, switched neutral) occupies one module width on a DIN rail, saving panel space compared to a two-module MCB+RCCB pair.
Deployment context
The 1P+N width means it fits a single 18 mm module, so it replaces a separate MCB and RCCB in the same rail position. Rated for 230 V AC only; not for three-phase or 400 V line-to-line circuits.
