The Siemens 5SU9346-7CR25 is a combined residual-current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) in a single 1P+N module. Its 6 kA Icn rated short-circuit capacity is sized for residential and light commercial distribution boards where the prospective fault current stays under that level — typical for TN and TT systems at the service entrance. The Type A residual-current element (30 mA) detects sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC fault currents, covering standard socket-outlet circuits and most single-phase loads with electronic components (switched-mode supplies, variable-speed drives). The C-characteristic (25 A rated current) trips between 5× and 10× In, so it handles motor inrush and capacitive loads without nuisance tripping on start-up.
Panel integration note
The 1P+N form factor occupies a single DIN-rail module width, which matters when filling a crowded distribution board. The neutral pole is switched and protected — no separate neutral bar needed downstream. Spring-cage or screw terminals (depending on variant) accept 1.5–25 mm² conductors; strip length follows the terminal marking.
