The Siemens 5SU9356-1CR10 is a 2-pole (1P+N) RCD-operated circuit breaker — an RCBO — from the SENTRON 5SU9 series. It combines overcurrent protection and 30 mA residual current protection in a single 36 mm wide (2 MW) module, saving a DIN-rail position versus separate MCB + RCD. The 30 mA residual-current element covers personnel protection and fire prevention.
Snap-on mounting to DIN rail. Mounting position is any. Terminals accept 0.75 mm² to 25 mm² conductors. Touch protection is provided on the terminals.
Thermal derating and environmental limits
Current rating is temperature-dependent: 10 A at 30 °C, derating to 9.4 A at 40 °C, 9.1 A at 45 °C, 8.7 A at 50 °C, and 8.1 A at 55 °C. In a warm panel (40 °C+), size the load circuit accordingly — the 10 A nameplate applies only at 30 °C ambient. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction. Rated for up to 95% humidity. Overvoltage category III (fixed installation, distribution level). Energy limiting class 3 — fast enough to limit let-through energy for downstream equipment protection.
