The 25 A rating at 30 °C is the base current; at 40 °C it derates to 23.5 A, at 45 °C to 22.75 A, at 50 °C to 21.75 A, and at 55 °C to 20.25 A (–). The 30 mA residual current is the standard for personal protection against indirect contact. The Type C characteristic handles moderate inrush from motor or lighting loads without nuisance tripping.
