The Siemens 5SU9356-7CR10 is a 1P+N RCBO combining overcurrent protection and 30 mA residual-current detection in a single DIN-rail module. The C characteristic (10 A rated current) means it holds the magnetic trip above 5× In, so it tolerates the inrush of small motor or lighting loads without nuisance tripping — a common spec for final subcircuits in residential and light commercial panels. Type A detection handles pulsating DC fault currents from rectified loads (electronics, LED drivers, single-phase VFDs) that a plain AC type would miss.
