RCBO for final subcircuit protection — D-curve, Type A, 32 A
The Siemens 5SU9356-8CN32 is a 1+N-pole RCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection) rated 32 A with a 6 kA breaking capacity. The D-characteristic means it tolerates high inrush currents — sized for motor, transformer, or LED-driver loads where the start-up surge would trip a B- or C-curve device. Type A residual-current detection covers pulsating DC fault currents from single-phase rectifiers, which a standard AC-type RCD would miss.
Snap-on DIN-rail mounting, Construction-line format
Snap-on mounting to 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715. The Construction-line housing shares the same modular width as the 5SL and 5SY MCBs, so it rows up cleanly in a sub-distribution board. Busbar-compatible finger-safe terminals; strip length 10 mm for the screw-clamp.
