It protects a single-phase final subcircuit against earth leakage, overload, and short-circuit, and trips instantaneously on a C-curve characteristic. Rated 2 A at 30 °C, it is sized for lighting or small appliance loads drawing under that current continuously.
The 4.5 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and 5 kA per IEC 60947-2 tell you the device can safely interrupt a fault current up to those levels at 230 V AC; the higher IEC figure applies when the RCBO is used as a distribution board component per the standard's installation rules. The 1P+N design switches the line conductor only; the neutral is switched but not protected against overcurrent. This is standard for single-phase final circuits where the neutral is not overloaded. Temperature derating is published across the operating range: 1.9 A at 40 °C, 1.8 A at 50 °C, 1.7 A at 60 °C, and 1.6 A at 70 °C.
Panel integration and environment
IP20 rated when installed in a distribution board with connected conductors — suitable for dry indoor enclosures, not washdown or outdoor.
