Integrator's note — 5SV1313-7KK13
It breaks fault currents up to 4.5 kA per EN 60898 or 5 kA per IEC 60947-2, which covers most residential and light commercial panelboard applications. The 1-module-width (18 mm) footprint saves rail space in crowded enclosures — two of these fit in the same width as a standard 2-pole MCB. Mounting position is unrestricted, and supply can enter from either top or bottom, which simplifies busbar routing in a pre-wired board.
Temperature derating — what the numbers mean
At 40 °C it derates to 12.35 A, at 50 °C to 11.57 A, and at 70 °C to 10.01 A. If the panel runs warm — say 50 °C inside a sealed enclosure — the continuous load should not exceed 11.57 A per pole. This derating curve is published per IEC 60898 and is the same for all C-curve RCBOs in this series; it is not a safety margin but a thermal limit of the bimetal trip element.
Panel integration checklist
Depth 77 mm, height 90 mm — verify enclosure depth clearance (70 mm installation depth plus wiring space). Halogen-free and silicon-free construction meets low-smoke, zero-halogen material requirements for public-access buildings. Touch protection is integral on the line-side terminals.
