Breaking capacity and standards
Rated at 6 kA according to EN 60898 (the standard for household and similar installations) and 10 kA according to IEC 60947-2 (the industrial standard for low-voltage switchgear).
In a warm enclosure — say 50 °C — the continuous current drops to 5.28 A; at 70 °C it is 4.44 A. This derating curve is critical for panel OEMs calculating fill factor and heat rise: if the RCBO is ganged with other heat sources, the actual load must be de-rated per the table, not the 30 °C label.
Supply can enter from top or bottom. IP20 with connected conductors in an installed distribution board — standard for enclosed panel use. Overvoltage category III, pollution degree 2.
