RCBO compact 1P+N — type F, 30 mA, C6
It combines a 1P+N pole configuration with a C tripping characteristic, rated at 6 kA per EN 60898 and 10 kA per IEC 60947-2. The type F residual current sensitivity is 30 mA, designed for circuits where smooth DC residual currents or mixed-frequency waveforms may be present — common on variable-speed drives, washing machines, and other inverter-fed loads that a standard AC type might miss. The supply can enter from either top or bottom, and the mounting position is unrestricted.
Type F residual current detection (30 mA) is specified for circuits where smooth DC components up to 10 mA or mixed frequencies up to 1 kHz may be present. This covers single-phase inverter-fed loads (washing machines, heat pumps, some EV chargers) that a type A or AC device might not detect reliably. Energy limitation class 3 means the device limits let-through energy (I²t) to the lowest level in its class, reducing stress on downstream cables and equipment during a fault. The 3 kA surge current withstand (8/20 μs) and 4 kV surge voltage resistance confirm it survives typical lightning-induced transients without damage.
Integration notes
At 18 mm (1 MW) wide, it occupies the same footprint as a single-pole MCB, leaving room in the panel for additional circuits. The supply can be fed from top or bottom, simplifying busbar routing in pre-wired boards.
