It carries a C10 tripping characteristic (10 A rated current, magnetic trip at 5–10× In) and a 30 mA type A residual-current element, making it suitable for protecting final circuits against both overload/short-circuit and sinusoidal/pulsating DC fault currents. The instantaneous design (no intentional time delay on the RCD side) means it trips within 40 ms on a residual fault — standard for socket-outlet circuits where fast disconnection is required.
The 1-module width (18 mm) saves one slot compared to a 2-module RCBO — useful when packing multiple circuits into a tight enclosure. Rated insulation voltage 253 V, surge voltage resistance 4 000 V, and surge current withstand 1 kA (8/20 µs) — the MOV or gas-discharge coordination is built into the device, so no external surge arrester is required for typical residential/commercial service entrance coordination.
