Product details

The Siemens 5SV3342-6 is a 4-pole residual current operated circuit breaker (RCCB) from the SENTRON line, type A, rated 25 A with 30 mA sensitivity at 400 V AC, 50 Hz.

The 10 kA short-circuit current rating (SCCR) per IEC 61008-1 (0.8 kA rated conditional) tells you this RCCB can handle fault current up to that level when backed by an upstream overcurrent device — the maximum permissible series fuse is 80 A. That 80 A limit is the hard ceiling for coordination; spec a larger fuse and the RCCB may not survive a fault. Power loss is 1.3 W per pole in hot operating state at rated current. Ambient temperature max is 45 °C; storage min is -40 °C. Mounting position is any, and supply can come from top or bottom — no forced orientation. Silicon-free construction, IP20 with conductors connected, overvoltage category III. Supplementary devices (like auxiliary switches or shunt trips) can be added on the side.

Installation depth is 70 mm — same as the overall depth. That's a standard footprint for a 4-pole RCCB; it'll slot into any SENTRON distribution board or similar DIN-rail enclosure without surprises. The test circuit needs at least 195 V to operate the built-in test button.
