4-pole Type A RCCB, 25 A, 100 mA
The 5SV3442-6: The Type A detection characteristic means it trips on sinusoidal AC residual currents and pulsating DC residual currents up to 6 mA — the common waveform from rectified loads like VFDs, switched-mode supplies, and single-phase drives. For a panel builder, that 100 mA threshold is the standard for fire protection in TN and TT systems; it's above the leakage floor of most distribution boards but low enough to clear a ground fault before cable insulation degrades.
10 kA SCCR and coordination
The short-circuit current rating is 10 kA, with a conditional rated short-circuit current of 0.8 kA. The series fuse maximum permissible is 80 A.
