The Siemens 5SV3448-6 is a 4-pole residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) from the 5SV3 family, rated 100 A with a 100 mA trip sensitivity, Type A, for 400 V AC line-to-line systems. Type A detection means it responds to sinusoidal AC fault currents plus pulsating DC fault currents — the standard requirement for circuits feeding single-phase electronics, variable-speed drives, or switched-mode power supplies where pure AC-only (Type AC) devices would be blind to half-wave rectified leakage.
