Type B means it detects AC, pulsating DC, and smooth DC residual currents up to 1 kHz — the full spectrum you get from variable-speed drives, UPS systems, and PV inverters. The 'selective' designation (S-type) gives it a short intentional delay so that downstream RCCBs trip first, keeping this unit as the main switch or feeder protection without nuisance coordination trips. Rated at 63 A and 300 mA sensitivity, it handles the feeder side of a sub-distribution board or a machine supply where you need ground-fault protection but don't want every branch fault taking out the whole panel. Short-circuit current rating is 10 kA per IEC 61008-1 (0.8 kA rated conditional short-circuit current per the same standard). The supply voltage range is 70–440 V AC, 50/60 Hz, so it covers 400 V three-phase networks and also stays live down to 70 V for the test circuit.
Mounts on DIN rail (REG fastening) in any position. The IP20 rating applies with the distribution board installed and conductors connected, which is the normal condition inside an enclosure. Silicon-free construction, so it's safe for use in coating lines or anywhere silicone outgassing can cause adhesion or contact problems.
