The Siemens SENTRON 5SV6016-7KP10 is an AFDD-MCB combination unit — an arc-fault detection device and miniature circuit breaker in one compact 1-module-wide housing. It protects a single-phase 230 V AC final circuit at 10 A with a C-curve tripping characteristic, and it interrupts fault currents up to 6 kA per both EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2. The 1P+N design (2 poles) switches the line and switches the neutral, which is standard for residential and light commercial distribution boards in markets that require neutral breaking.
Snaps onto DIN rail (REG) and occupies a single modular width unit (18 mm). Mounting position is unrestricted — install it any orientation in the enclosure. Installation depth is 70 mm; the overall body depth is 68.5 mm, so it sits flush with the front of a standard 70 mm deep distribution board. The IP20 rating applies only with the protective device and conductors connected — that's the usual exposed-terminal protection for a panel interior, not a sealed enclosure rating.
Rated for 10 000 mechanical switching cycles typical. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction. Degree of pollution 2, overvoltage category III. Ambient temperature range -40 °C to +75 °C, with 95% relative humidity permissible up to 55 °C. Supply frequency 50 Hz only. Minimum testing voltage 195 V. No short-time delayed switching function.
