The AFDD function monitors for series arcs (rated 2 A to 6 A minimum to maximum) and parallel arcs (50 A to 500 A), tripping the breaker when it detects the high-frequency signature of an arc fault. This addresses a failure mode that a standard MCB or RCBO alone cannot detect — loose connections, damaged conductors, or aging insulation that create a sustained arc without drawing enough current to trip the overcurrent element.
Snap-on DIN rail (REG) mounting, 18 mm width (1 MW), 68.5 mm depth, 90 mm height. Installation depth is 70 mm.
