Arc-fault + RCBO in one 18 mm slot
It occupies just one modular width (18 mm) on a DIN rail, which is tight for a 1P+N device that also carries arc-fault electronics. Rated 40 A, 30 mA, Type A, 6 kA per both IEC 60947-2 and EN 60898-1, it fits standard 50 Hz residential and light commercial panels. The pigtail connection simplifies wiring on the neutral side. Mounting position is unrestricted, and the IP20 rating holds with conductors connected.
The 30 mA residual-current threshold, Type A, catches sinusoidal AC faults plus pulsating DC faults — covers most modern electronics and variable-speed drives downstream. The arc-fault detection covers both series arcs (2 A to 40 A) and parallel arcs (50 A to 500 A), which means it can detect a loose connection at a terminal as well as a carbonized path between conductors. The 10 000 mechanical switching cycles is the typical mechanical endurance — fine for a distribution board, not for a daily-switched load.
