What this AFDD-RCBO does — and why the ratings matter
It protects a 230 V AC, 50 Hz final circuit at 40 A rated current, with a 30 mA residual-current trip (Type A) and a 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2. The 30 mA sensitivity covers personnel protection against line-to-ground faults, while the arc-fault detection (AFDD) catches series and parallel arcs that a standard RCBO would miss — a real advantage for fire prevention in residential or light-commercial distribution boards.
Snaps onto DIN rail (REG) — 18 mm width, 68.5 mm depth, 90 mm height. The IP20 rating applies with the protective device and conductors connected — normal for indoor switchgear.
