What this AFDD-RCBO does in the panel
It protects a single-phase 230 V AC 50 Hz final circuit at 40 A rated current, with a 30 mA Type A residual-current trip. The arc-fault detection covers series arcs from 1 A to 40 A and parallel arcs from 50 A to 500 A, which means it catches both the low-current arcing at a loose terminal and the high-current flashover between conductors — the two failure modes that a standard MCB or RCCB alone won't detect.
