The Siemens SENTRON 5SV9313-1CN06 is an RCD-operated circuit breaker (RCBO) combining overcurrent protection and residual current protection in a single 18 mm-wide module. Breaking capacity is 4.5 kA per EN 60898 and 5 kA per IEC 60947-2. For a domestic or light commercial distribution board fed from a transformer of typical impedance, that covers most fault scenarios downstream of a 63 A or smaller incoming device. The 1P+N design switches the line conductor and monitors the neutral; it occupies one modular width (18 mm) on the DIN rail, which is tight for an RCBO — most competitors need two widths for a combined device.
Thermal derating and installation
The 6 A rating holds at 30 °C ambient; at 40 °C it derates to 5.64 A, at 45 °C to 5.46 A, and at 55 °C to 5.04 A. In a crowded panel with multiple RCBOs side by side, the internal temperature rise reduces the usable current — plan the load at the derated figure for the expected cabinet ambient. Depth is 77 mm, installation depth 70 mm, height 90 mm.
