The Siemens 5SV9316-1PK16 is a 2-pole (1P+N) SENTRON RCD-operated circuit breaker — an RCBO that combines overcurrent protection and residual current protection in a single 18 mm wide module. The C-curve tripping characteristic means it holds 5–10× In for short-duration inrush, making it a standard fit for general-purpose circuits feeding lighting, socket outlets, and small motor loads in commercial and industrial distribution boards.
One modular width unit (18 mm) snaps onto DIN rail. Depth is 77 mm, installation depth 70 mm — the extra 7 mm is the front projection of the toggle and test button. Mounting position is unrestricted; supply feeds from below per standard practice. IP20 applies once the distribution board is installed and conductors are connected — the RCBO itself is not sealed for wet environments. Touch protection is built in on the line-side terminals.
