Device protection switch, 6 A, F2 characteristic, 1-pole with auxiliary NO
It includes an integrated auxiliary NO contact (1P+AS design), making it suitable for signaling the switched state back to a PLC or indicator lamp without an add-on module. Rated for 230 V AC at 50/60 Hz and 60 V DC, with a maximum DC operating voltage of 72 V and single-phase AC up to 250 V. The breaking capacity is 3 kA AC per IEC 60934, and it also carries a UL1077 listing for supplementary protection in North American panels. Mounting can be horizontal or vertical.
The F2 characteristic is a fast-acting curve designed for protecting semiconductor loads, sensitive electronics, or circuits where the inrush current is low but a short-circuit must be cleared rapidly. It sits between the standard F characteristic and the ultra-fast gG/gL fuse curve. For a 6 A rating, expect magnetic trip at roughly 8–12 times rated current (48–72 A), which keeps downstream silicon from seeing a prolonged fault. Thermal influence matters: the device is calibrated at 30 °C and 85% relative humidity, but derates at higher ambient temperatures — at 60 °C and 20% rF the effective trip current shifts. If the panel runs hot, account for the derating curve in the datasheet.
Integration and compliance notes
IP20 rated — suitable for dry indoor enclosures only; no washdown rating. Pollution degree 2 (normal factory environment, non-conductive contamination). Sealable per, allowing the actuator to be locked in the OFF position with a padlock for lockout/tagout procedures. The top and bottom terminals are not combined, so each conductor lands on its own clamp — no shared busbar hole. Neutral conductor is not switched.
