The neutral pole switches with the line, so the circuit is fully isolated when the breaker trips.
Fit and installation
Snaps onto standard DIN rail (mounting type: standard rail). Occupies one width unit — 18 mm wide — leaving room for adjacent breakers in a multi-pole assembly. Screw terminals accept 0.75 to 16 mm² solid or stranded copper. Torque to 2.0–2.5 N·m (17.7–22.1 lbf·in). Mounting position any; ambient operating range –25 to +45 °C.
B-curve tripping characteristic means the magnetic trip operates at 3–5× rated current (30–50 A for this 10 A unit) — fast enough for resistive and general-purpose loads, but avoids nuisance trips from modest inrush. Energy limiting class 3 means it lets through minimal fault energy, reducing stress on downstream cables and equipment. Overvoltage category III certifies it for fixed-installation distribution boards (not just socket-outlet circuits). Touch protection is built in — no live metal exposed when the breaker is mounted and wired. Vibration-resistant per IEC 60068-2-6, so it holds up in industrial panels near rotating machinery.
Materials and compliance
Halogen-free and silicon-free construction — important for installations where outgassing could contaminate contacts or sensitive electronics (e.g., in clean rooms or near relay contacts). Sealable (provision for a lead seal or lock) to prevent unauthorized operation after commissioning.
