What this MCB does in the panel
The Siemens 5SY3013-6KL is a 1P+N miniature circuit breaker from the SENTRON family, rated 13 A with a B tripping characteristic and a 4.5 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 at 230 V AC. It switches the neutral conductor and occupies a single 18 mm width unit on standard DIN rail, so it fits tight sub-distribution boards where space is at a premium.
Where it survives the nacelle
Up-tower, this MCB holds up. It's rated for vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6, so it takes the shake of a wind turbine nacelle without nuisance tripping. The ambient temperature range of -25 to +45 °C covers the inside of a cold-climate tower in winter and a sun-baked controller cabinet in summer. Storage tolerance from -40 to +75 °C means it survives transport and laydown in a service container.
Tightening torque is 2 to 2.5 N·m (17.7 to 22.1 lbf·in). The terminals are touch-protected, and the device is sealable for tamper-proofing after commissioning.
