The SENTRON 5SY3032-6KV is a miniature circuit breaker (MCB) rated 32 A with a B tripping characteristic, 1P+N pole configuration, and a 4.5 kA breaking capacity at 230 V AC per EN 60898. The 1P+N design switches the line conductor and switches the neutral without overcurrent protection on the neutral, common in single-phase residential or light commercial panels.
The neutral conductor is switched internally — no separate neutral bar needed for the switched pole.
The B-curve characteristic makes this MCB appropriate for circuits where the connected load has low inrush current — think lighting, resistive heaters, or general socket outlets. For motor or transformer circuits with higher inrush, a C-curve or D-curve would be the better call.
