It breaks 4.5 kA per EN 60898 and 6 kA per IEC 60947-2, with a DC rating of 15 kA per IEC 60947-2.
The 4.5 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC (EN 60898) covers most domestic and light commercial service entrance faults; the 6 kA IEC 60947-2 rating gives headroom for industrial distribution boards where fault levels run higher. The 15 kA DC rating at 72 V means it also works in DC sub-distribution for control circuits or solar combiner boxes.
