1 A C-curve MCB for 400 V AC branch circuits
It protects branch circuits at 400 V AC, with a breaking capacity of 4.5 kA per EN 60898 and 6 kA per IEC 60947-2 — the higher IEC figure gives you headroom for industrial panel coordination where the prospective fault current sits above the domestic standard. At 1 A it suits control transformers, PLC power supplies, or instrument loops where a B-curve would nuisance-trip on the inrush and a D-curve would delay too long for sensitive electronics.
Mounts via the quick-assembly system (DIN rail clip) in any position — no derating for horizontal or inverted orientation. Installation depth is 70 mm; the overall depth including terminals is 76 mm, which clears most standard 80 mm deep enclosures. Width is 36 mm (2 width units), height 90 mm. Combined terminals top and bottom mean you can feed from either end without swapping hardware. Touch protection is built in; the unit is sealable for panel lockout programs.
Environmental limits and DC rating
Humidity derating applies: 95% RH up to 55 °C, then 55% RH at 70 °C, and 35% RH at 75 °C — relevant if the panel sits in a non-conditioned washdown area or outdoor cabinet. That covers 48 VDC control bus protection and some 60 VDC solar-combiner applications, but verify polarity and arc extinction for your specific DC load.
