What this MCB does on the rail
That C-curve means it holds through inrush up to 5–10× rated current — typical for motor-starter and small transformer loads on a 400 V AC line. The 4.5 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 covers most residential and light commercial panelboard duty; the 6 kA rating per IEC 60947-2 gives you the higher fault-clearing headroom needed when the breaker sits closer to the transformer in an industrial sub-distribution board.
Panel fit and wiring constraints
Terminal capacity accepts 0.75 to 35 mm² solid or stranded, which covers everything from 1.5 mm² lighting circuits up to 10 mm² feeder tails. Combined terminals top and bottom mean you can feed from either end without swapping the busbar position.
Halogen-free and silicon-free construction, which matters for panels in clean-room or corrosive-gas environments where outgassing can contaminate contacts. IP20 with connected conductors — finger-safe once wired, but not protected against dripping water. Overvoltage category III, energy limiting class 3. Sealable for lockout/tagout compliance.
