The Siemens 5SY3220-7 is a SENTRON 5SY3 miniature circuit breaker — 2-pole, C-curve, rated 20 A at 400 V AC. It's the spare you keep one of in the cabinet for a legacy distribution board or sub-panel, not a part you want to chase after a fault.
Breaking capacity and standards coverage
Rated breaking capacity is 4.5 kA per EN 60898 and 6 kA per IEC 60947-2 at 400 V AC. That covers most sub-distribution fault levels; if your panel SCCR is higher, the 6 kA IEC figure gives a bit more headroom for coordination studies. For DC circuits, the 2-pole series connection yields 15 kA at 72 V DC per IEC 60947-2 — useful for control bus protection or battery-backed loads. Also carries a UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235 rating of 5 kA at AC, so it's accepted in North American supplementary-protection applications.
Snaps onto DIN rail via the quick-assembly system — 2 width units (36 mm wide), 90 mm tall, 76 mm deep with a 70 mm installation depth. Mount in any position; terminal design allows top or bottom feed.
