That B-curve means it trips at 3–5× rated current — standard for general-purpose lighting and distribution circuits where you don't want nuisance trips from motor inrush. The 4.5 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and 6 kA per IEC 60947-2 at 400 V AC tell you it can safely interrupt a fault up to those levels without welding contacts or cascading upstream. For DC circuits it's rated 15 kA at 72 V max per IEC 60947-2, and 5 kA per UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No.235 — useful if you're feeding a DC bus or control supply off the same panel. The 2-pole (2P) configuration with 36 mm width (2 width units) snaps onto standard DIN rail. Mounting position is any, so you can lay it sideways in a tight gland plate area if needed. Terminal capacity accepts 0.75 to 35 mm² solid or stranded — covers everything from a 1.5 mm² control circuit tail up to a 35 mm² main feeder. Combined terminals top and bottom mean you can feed from either end without reconfiguring.
Height 90 mm, width 36 mm. The 2-pole body leaves room for a 4-pole isolator or a second MCB in the same 72 mm wide slot. Ambient temperature range -25 to +55 °C, storage -40 to +75 °C.
Rated per EN 60898 (4.5 kA) and IEC 60947-2 (6 kA) for AC circuits, plus UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 No.235 (5 kA) for North American acceptance. Sealable with a lockable cover for isolation lockout/tagout procedures.
