Product identity and certification scope
It carries dual-standard certification to IEC / EN 60898-1 and IEC / EN 60947-2, plus UL 1077 / CSA C22.2 No. 235 — meaning it is accepted in European, UK, and North American installations under a single order code.
Breaking capacity — the real-world headroom
The 10 kA rating per EN 60898-1 covers the standard domestic and light-commercial fault level. At 60 V DC it still holds 15 kA per IEC 60947-2. For UL 1077 listings the rating is 5 kA — adequate for North American supplementary protection applications.
B-curve tripping and application fit
It is not intended for motor-starting duty (C or D curve would be specified for that). The 1-pole form factor at 18 mm width (1 MW) fits a standard DIN-rail enclosure, and the quick-assembly system allows tool-less snap-on mounting in any orientation.
Combined terminals at both top and bottom accept supply from any direction — no need to orient the breaker for top-feed only. IP20 protection applies with connected conductors; the terminals are finger-safe only when wired.
