The 18 mm width occupies a single modular unit on a DIN rail, which is the standard spacing for 1-pole MCBs in a distribution board. Depth is 76 mm (70 mm installation depth), so it fits flush in most enclosures without protruding past the gland plate. Mounting position is any orientation — no derating required for horizontal or inverted installation. The quick-assembly fastening system snaps onto the rail without tools. Combined terminals at both top and bottom accept supply from either end, which simplifies busbar wiring in a multi-pole assembly. The neutral conductor is not switched — this is a single-pole device switching only the phase.
Temperature derating
The 0.5 A rating is at 35 °C ambient. At elevated temperatures the continuous current must be derated: 0.46 A at 40 °C, 0.44 A at 45 °C, 0.41 A at 50 °C, 0.39 A at 55 °C, and 0.36 A at 60 °C. The operating range spans -40 °C to 75 °C, with humidity limits of 95% up to 55 °C, 55% up to 70 °C, and 35% at 75 °C.
