That A curve means it trips at 2–3× rated current — faster than B or C curves — so it's suited for protecting semiconductor loads or long control circuits where you need to clear a fault before the electronics let the smoke out. At DC it's rated 15 kA per IEC 60947-2, which covers control-circuit protection in DC bus applications up to 72 V.
Mount in any position.
Dual-rated: IEC / EN 60898-1 for residential and commercial distribution, and IEC / EN 60947-2 plus UL 1077 for industrial control-panel use. Also carries a 5 kA SCCR per UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 No. 235 for North American panels. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction — no outgassing concerns in sealed enclosures. Sealable terminals for lockout/tagout compliance.
