The C-curve (characteristic C) means the magnetic trip operates at 5 to 10 times rated current — so for a 6 A breaker, instantaneous trip occurs between 30 A and 60 A. It's not the D-curve you'd grab for high-inrush motor starts, nor the B-curve for sensitive electronic loads. Temperature derating is built into the spec: at 40 °C ambient the breaker is rated 5.63 A, at 50 °C it drops to 5.24 A, and at 60 °C it's 4.82 A. The 18 mm width (1 modular unit) snaps onto standard DIN rail.

Overvoltage category III suits fixed installations and distribution panels. Energy limitation class 3 means it limits the let-through energy (I²t) during a fault — less stress on downstream wiring and equipment. The sealable feature (yes) lets you lock the toggle in position to prevent unauthorized reset, which is useful in safety-critical or shared-access panels.
