Panel fit and mounting
The 5SY4163-8: Snaps onto a DIN rail via the quick assembly system — 18 mm wide (one modular unit), 76 mm deep, 90 mm tall. Installation depth is 70 mm. Mounts in any position, and the supply cord can enter from any side. The IP20 rating with connected conductors means it's fine inside a closed enclosure but not for wet or dusty environments. Pollution degree 3 and overvoltage category III are standard for industrial panels. Combined terminals top and bottom accept the same conductor sizes. Keep the ambient below 35 °C to hold the full 63 A; above that, follow the derating curve.
