For motor or transformer-heavy circuits you would typically reach for a C or D curve; this one is sized for the branch where nuisance tripping from start-up current is not the concern. Breaking capacity is 10 kA per EN 60898-1 and 20 kA per IEC 60947-2 / UL1077. Thermal derating is published stepwise: 8 A at 35 °C, 7.62 A at 40 °C, 7.42 A at 45 °C, 7.22 A at 50 °C, 7 A at 55 °C, 6.78 A at 60 °C. If the panel ambient runs at 50 °C, the usable continuous current drops to 7.22 A — a factor to check when loading the breaker near its nameplate. Ambient range is -40 to 75 °C, with humidity limits of 95 % up to 55 °C, 55 % up to 70 °C, and 35 % at 75 °C.
Installation depth is 70 mm (the breaker body is 76 mm deep, so the extra 6 mm accounts for the actuator and terminal clearance).
