The IP20 rating applies only with conductors connected — finger-safe once wired, but not sealed against dust ingress in the open state.
Termination and wiring
Both top and bottom terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 0.75 mm² up to 35 mm², with a tightening torque of 2.5 to 3.5 N·m. The combined terminal design (screw-type) accepts a single conductor per clamp; no neutral switching on this 2P unit (it switches both poles, but the neutral is not broken). The sealable cover option lets you lock the toggle position after commissioning — useful for tamper-proofing in shared-access panels.
Regulatory and compliance notes
The breaker is designed for railway applications (per) and carries the EN 60898 rating for residential/commercial use, plus overvoltage category III. Touch protection is built in (finger-safe terminals when wired). The product is classified per DIN EN 61346-2 and 81346-2 as function F (protection).
