Rated breaking capacity is 10 kA per EN 60898 at 400 V AC, with a secondary rating of 5 kA per UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 No. 235.
The C-curve (tripping characteristic class C) means the magnetic trip operates at 5 to 10 times rated current — about 160 to 320 A for this 32 A breaker. Rated at 400 V AC, overvoltage category III, this breaker is designed for fixed-installation distribution boards — not for final sub-circuits at the equipment level. The 72 V DC maximum rating means it can also serve DC control circuits (e.g., 48 V or 60 V battery-backed supplies), but not 110 V DC or higher. Wire range accepts solid or stranded conductors from 0.75 mm² up to 35 mm², with a tightening torque of 2.5 to 3.5 N·m on the screw terminals. That covers most feeder and branch-circuit wiring sizes in a 32 A circuit — no need for pin terminals or reducers.
Mounting and integration notes
The breaker is sealable (provision for a seal cap to prevent tamper), touch-protected per IP20 with conductors connected, and rated for ambient temperatures from -25 °C to +55 °C.
