It carries a 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2 / UL1077, so it clears faults up to that level without upstream coordination issues in a typical distribution sub-panel. The 2-module-width (36 mm) body snaps onto DIN rail and mounts in any position, with combined top and bottom terminals that accept stranded or solid copper without special lugs.
Full 50 A rating holds at 35 °C ambient; at 40 °C it derates to 47.6 A, at 50 °C to 45.1 A, and at 60 °C to 42.4 A — so a panel running warm needs a one-step upsized breaker if the load is continuous at 50 A. Operating range spans -40 °C to 75 °C, with humidity limits of 95 % up to 55 °C, tapering to 35 % at 75 °C — fine for outdoor cabinets in temperate climates but not for direct steam or washdown zones.
Panel integration
Two modular-width units (36 mm) on standard DIN rail, 70 mm installation depth, IP20 with conductors connected. Sealable design allows the panel builder to lock the toggle position for tamper-proof isolation on safety circuits or critical process loads.
