What it is and what it does
The Siemens 5SY4305-8CV is a 3-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) with a D0.5 tripping curve, rated for a 15 kA interrupting capacity at 400 V AC. The D curve means it tolerates brief inrush currents typical of motor or transformer loads before tripping on sustained overload — the 0.5 A rating makes it suited for very small motor or control-circuit protection, not main feeder duty.
Panel integration
